Dubstep, techno, and other dance music comes from learning the elements of electronicmusic. Learn how to record, sample, put on effects, and manipulate all kinds of sounds to make unique music. Using programs like Garage Band and Audacity, campers will have the opportunity to be creative with sound. This camp is suitable for beginners to intermediate since all campers will have their own computer to work at their own pace. Each day will consist of listening to different kinds of electronica, learning a skill, working on individual projects, and sharing with the group. Although no musical experience is required, the willingness to try new things and a respect for other campers is a must. All information and registration for this camp is found through Siena college.
